Tunku Danny Nasaifuddin Mudzaffar

Chief Executive Officer

Tunku Danny is a seasoned finance executive with over 20 years of experience spanning investment banking and fintech. Holding an MBA from Nottingham University Business School, he began his career at Hwang-DBS Securities and went on to hold senior roles at Standard Chartered Bank and BNP Paribas in both London and Kuala Lumpur.

In 2019, he founded microLEAP, Malaysia's first platform offering both Islamic and conventional P2P financing. He was also recognised by Fintech News Network for his contributions to the fintech industry.

Norsharizal Mashahrin

Co-founder & Partner

Norsharizal is the ex-CEO of the largest Microfinance Institution in Malaysia which currently has outstanding microloans of more than RM2.6bio. Norsharizal brings a wealth of experience from the microfinance field and he is an important source of knowledge on the key requirements for microLEAP. Norsharizal has 15 years of work experience and has previously worked for several important Corporates and Government-Linked Investment Companies. Norsharizal holds an MBA from the Alliance Manchester Business School.

Matthew Noel Fernandez

Chief Operating Officer

Matthew heads operations, credit, and compliance at microLEAP. Matthew brings deep experience in microfinance, risk management, and operational scale-ups. He has played a key role in developing microLEAP's proprietary credit assessment framework, including psychometric evaluation tools for MSMEs, and oversees platform operations, issuer onboarding, and disbursement processes.

Marzuki Musa

Chief Marketing Officer

Marzuki leads microLEAP's marketing, branding, and user acquisition efforts. With a strong background in digital strategy, creative content, and brand development, Marzuki has spearheaded campaigns that have significantly grown microLEAP's issuer and investor base. He is instrumental in shaping the platform's public voice and investor engagement, ensuring marketing remains both Shariah-compliant and results-driven.

Amir Azril

Chief Technology Officer

Amir oversees all technology, platform development, and system infrastructure at microLEAP. Amir brings deep expertise in full-stack development, fintech systems, and digital integrations. He is responsible for leading the engineering team, enhancing platform scalability, and ensuring secure and seamless experiences for both investors and issuers. Amir also plays a key role in aligning microLEAP's tech stack with regulatory and Shariah-compliant frameworks.

Zackrey Omar

Chief Strategy Officer

Zackrey oversees all company departments and provides strategic direction. He was also part of the co-founding team of two other P2P financing platforms in Malaysia. With 11 years of senior management experience in marketing, business development, and sales (B2B & B2C) across domestic and international markets, including 6 years in the Fintech banking sector, Zackrey brings a wealth of expertise to his role.

YAM Tunku Tan Sri Imran Ibni Tunku Ja'afar

Partner & Advisor

Tunku Imran is the Executive Chairman of Syarikat Pesaka Antah Sdn Bhd. In the field of sports, Tunku Imran is Founding Chairman of the Foundation for Malaysian Sporting Excellence (SportExcel) and Honorary Life President of the Olympic Council of Malaysia. He is also an Honorary Member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), and Honorary Life President for both the Commonwealth Games Federation and the South East Asian (ASEAN) Games Federation. He is the Chancellor of Wawasan Open University.
